Avengers Prime with Thor and Iron Man and Cap? I haven’t read it myself but I hear it’s pretty good. Oh and! If they’re interested in Thor (or more Loki, I guess), then Journey into Mystery is fantastic! Esp from #622 on.
Ah, thanks! I actually own Avengers: Prime, so that was a great suggestion that I could lend her. I forgot I wanted to read Journey; I’ve been a huge Gillen fan for the longest time. And the JMS Thor was something I recommended too.
Suggestions to a new reader?
I’ve got a friend who wants to get into comics because of The Avengers. I’ve got a few books that I’ve recommended her/offered to lend her (especially Gen Hope and Young Avengers), but I’m blanking on a main-universe Iron Man title/story that’s good for new readers. I am not a fan of Fraction’s Iron Man, at all, and I know my friend that was an Iron Man expert back at Capes&Cowls recced some stuff to me but I can’t remember it for the life of me, so…
Help?

I absolutely love Laura/Jubilee, definitely one of my favorite friendships! They’re two girls who very much understand each other and what they’re going through. Laura’s searching for her humanity and Jubilee is trying to regain hers.
And I also just really enjoyed seeing Laura forge relationships on her own in this series. Gonna miss everything about this book.
