Anatomy of a Really Good Grilled Cheese at Petite Kitchenesse
I use provolone and a nice sharp chedder or pepper jack if I can get it. Honestly, though, I’ve never even heard of marjoram before today. Not sure how good that is. Apparently its a form of oregano?
Sashimi Martini I ate the other day at Grace’s Mandarin in National Harbor. Every bit as good as it looks. Just the right amount of spicy, and the octopus was delicious.
Thai iced tea is the best thing.
And what’s better is making a whole big pitcher of it for yourself.
Until it’s gone, that is. Recipe here; I used 3 bags of Stash Chai tea rather than loose leaves (which has cardamom and things in it, so I negated the additional spices), light coconut milk, and turbinado sugar. Then mixed it all together because I am lazy and wanted to put it in various drinking vessels.
I’m tempted to try making boba sometime soon, too, but that requires a little more effort on my part.
