A Witch called Wanda :D
Someone please bring back Cassie Lang.
In episode #2, we share our alcohol headcanons for Black Widow, discuss last week’s Game of Thrones, Parks and Recreation, Hannibal, and Agents of SHIELD. Carrie also talks about the week in comics, especially All New X-Men and Secret Avengers 2
We introduce our new segment called “Random segment” (terrible name we know, but give it a listen!) where we talk about historical knitting (Erin, duh) and the age of comic book characters (Carrie…and way more exciting than it sounds!)
Check out our tumblr, powerhourpodcast.tumblr.com to follow along with the pictures we’re looking at for Carrie’s random segment, as well as drink pictures and recipes!
Just a note about the sound: yes, we know the sound is uneven, and sometimes my (Erin) sound gets distorted or kind of blurred out. I’m working on fixing this, but I’m still learning about audio production!

New episode up!
Been wanting to doodle Peggy Cap ever since that text post a few days ago. I MAY prefer this to Steve haha. She’s SUCH a competent agent to start with and give her super soldier abilities and holy crap.
OMG WHAT DID I DO!?

Heartbleed update: the sky is actually falling
Fedor Indutny has successfully recovered a private key from a Web server (legitimately - the server was put online to see if anyone would be able to do it). This is something that many people, including Cloudflare and myself, thought would be practically infeasible in a real-world scenario. He’s proved his success cryptographically, and I’m absolutely certain that he’s succeeded.
This is exceptionally bad, and there’s not really anything conclusive that can be done about it. Previous advice stands, with this addition:
Technical users may also benefit from Certificate Patrol, but normal users will find it confusing and it’s worthless if you can’t interpret its warnings.

taking a break from sad Stuckys to celebrate Sam Wilson \o/
When I was twelve in Russia I killed my parents. Because I wasn’t a good person. Even at that age I was the worst. So I became a criminal. I sank into the criminal underworld. In those days, it was not a joke. Only the toughest of the tough survived. I married one of the most powerful drug dealers on the street. It didn’t last long I caught him in bed with another woman. So I dispatched them both from there I became a rogue. I started doing whatever I could, for safety or for money.
